Rent and Contract Details 2010 - 2011
There are two licence agreement available, 44 and 51 weeks. For most undergraduates a 44 week licence agreement is most suitable. International students or those planning to stay in Manchester through the Summer, will find a 51 week licence agreement offers more flexibility. Your room is yours for the entire period and you do not need to move your belongings during the Christmas and Easter vacations. We recommend that you also read our cancellation policy and 'before you apply'.

Reservation fee and utilities
Reservation fee £95
Utilities £300
A reservation fee of £95.00 is required to secure a room. This covers the processing of your application and any reasonable levels of cleaning and minor maintenance requirements at the end of the year. The utility payment of £300 covers all heating, lighting and water costs for the duration of the contract so there are no hidden or additional charges. The utility payment of £300 excludes internet and television licence costs and is payable with the first rent payments. In total £95 is required to reserve a room, this payment must accompany a completed application form.
Prices
The pricing table shows the total rent payable for the full licence agreement and each term. A discount of 5% is available for advance rent payments.

Payment Dates
The due date for each rent payment can be found below:

Contract Start/Moving in Dates
You can choose two move in dates (these are Saturdays).
This is the date your Tenancy agreement will start and your first rent payment is due 1st September. If you move in at a later date, your rent is still due on this date, 1st September.
