Cancellation policy
A copy of the licence agreement is available for you to read or download here.
- If you cancel your application at any time you will forfeit your deposit of £200.
- If you are a first year applicant and do not achieve the required exam results to attend a course in Manchester you will be released from your licence agreement if you provide copies of your offer letter and proof of grades within 48 hours of receiving your exam results. You will forfeit £200.
- If somebody else is paying your application fee of £200 please ensure they are aware of this cancellation policy. Cancellations must be received IN WRITING and must be addressed to the Accommodation Manager.
- All successful applicants will receive a licence agreement. If a signed copy is not received within 6 weeks from the date it was posted from the Manchester Student Village Office, we reserve the right to withdraw your room and you will forfeit £200.
The licence agreement is a legal document, by signing it you are taking responsibility for the rent on your allocated room for 43 or 51 weeks.

You may be able to view your allocated room up to six weeks after you have signed a licence agreement. If you are unable to visit Student Village please be aware you are signing the contract at your own risk.
